Positive: I loved everything about this hotel. It is a modest establishment, not five star luxury. That said, I have rarely seen so much character and attention to detail in this category. From the moment you open the squeaky glass doors of the entrance hall and take the vintage elevator up to the glorious old world reception desk, you feel like you step into a living piece of history. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I could feel that everything is managed with a lot of love and care. Breakfast is excellent with many high quality pastries to choose from and coffee is made to order by a barista.
Negative: My stay was too short.
